For the first time I came across this interesting combination
of chocolate and chilli in a cake. Just couldn’t wait to try it out. This one
comes from Mexico. There is a slight
hint of chilli in the cake. For me I guess it would be an acquired taste.
For a lazy weekend spent reading, here’s a moist banana
cake. Since it is not very sweet, it goes well with tea. Instead of brown
sugar, I used ‘bhura’ which gave it a nice earthy taste. ‘Bhura’ is a sweet
powdery form of jaggery.
