Chocolate Roses

My previous attempt at making modelling chocolate was a disaster. Tried again and this time it came together. Here’s my first creation of modelling chocolate-Chocolate Roses. Not perfect but will get there, hopefully soon!

Welcome winters!

Snow transports me to my teenage years spent in Mussoorie, a hill station in Uttarakhand, India. Being familiar with the weather pattern, we knew when to expect snow. It used to be cold but serene and beautiful. I still have the most vivid cherished memories of making snowmen and having snow ball fights. All the trees would be dressed in pristine white color. One of our predominant pranks was slyly shaking off the excess snow from the branches on to the person standing below the tree. The most beautiful part was when the early morning sun rays would fall on frozen snow and light it up. What a sight! Nature never looked so gorgeous. Here’s a little bit of Mussoorie on cupcakes:)

Tres Leche Cake (Milk Cake)

A popular cake from Latin America. The word Leche means milk in Spanish. It is a sponge cake soaked in milk sauce.

Chocolate Chilli Cake

For the first time I came across this interesting combination of chocolate and chilli in a cake. Just couldn’t wait to try it out. This one comes from Mexico.  There is a slight hint of chilli in the cake. For me I guess it would be an acquired taste.
